8 Gold finished Inv 3.4. Homework tonight is ACE 21-23, 26 pg 48. The directions are to factor and solve (via Miss Pelle) Reflection pg 55 due tomorrow. We will have a quiz over factoring and solving equations tomorrow.

8 Gold had a double dose of math today. We finished the gridded response practice test, practiced solving linear equations, and launched Inv 3.4 Homework due Monday is a solving linear equations worksheet 1-16 due Monday.

8 Gold worked on a practice gridded response test to prepare for next weeks ISTEP.

8 Gold has a different assignment from what I assigned in class. CORRECTION!!! ACE 10-15 pg 47 is due tomorrow. ACE 16-17 are extra credit. Students must show work to get full credit.

8 Gold went to the lab today to work on ALEKS. There are so many 8th grade activities til the end of the year, there will be fewer grades taken since they will be missing so many classes. Please check the on line grade book regularly, to make sure your child is doing well. 8th grade really needs to stay focused for the next 7 weeks! We're not graduated yet! :)

8 Gold got some papers passed back today, they can be found in the graded papers section of their binders. We also worked on the open note quiz over Inv 2.

8 Gold completed Inv 2.2 The ACE tonight picks up from Inv 2.2, notes will be VERY helpful! ACE 6-8 pg 29 is due tomorrow.

8 Gold started Inv 2.2, which focuses on combing expressions. The problems in Inv 2.2 are very multi step. We will finish Inv 2.2 Monday. Homework for the weekend is 30 mins of ALEKS.

8 Gold did not meet today because of reconciliation. ACE 1, 2, 3 will be collected Monday. Homework for the weekend is 30 minutes of ALEKS.

8 Gold did not have the best ACE they could. All but two students need to redo ACE 1 & 2 pg 12 from last night. So, tonight's homework is to Redo ACE 1, 2 and ACE #3 pg 13. Both due Friday. (This redo is NOT an option!!)

Today was our last day for equation writing. Homework due Monday is ISTEP problem 4 and 13. As well as 30 minutes of ALEKS.

8 Gold continued working on ISTEP equations. Homework tonight is 15 minutes of ALEKS, finish Istep #1 about Joyce, and Finish the in class elevator problem.
