8th grade took the ECA practice test today. Tomorrow we will take session 1. calculators can be used on session 1 only

Today 8th grade worked on the ECA practice test, Homework due monday is pg 14, 15 # 1, 2, 5. We will be taking the ECA Mon-Wed next week. Please have your child be present for math class.

8 green completed Inv 1.3. Homework tonight is ACE 6, 8, 10, 12 pg 13 (graph paper needed) due tomorrow, and Reflection pg 18 due Friday. We will have a quiz over Inv 1 tomorrow.

8 Green did their first Inv of Frogs Fleas and Painted Cubes. Homework tonight is ACE 1 pg 11. Students do not need to draw the rectangles!

8 Green finished their tests today, worked on ALEKS, cleaned out their binders and worked on the new chapter vocab. Vocab over Frogs Fleas and Painted Cubes due tomorrow.

8 Green had a double dose of math today. We finished the Sw/S test, worked on ALEKS and took the gridded response practice ISTEP test!

8 Green used their class time to review important concepts over say it with symbols. We will be working on the study guide tomorrow. Test Thursday.

8 Green went to the lab today to work on ALEKS. There are so many 8th grade activities til the end of the year, there will be fewer grades taken since they will be missing so many classes. Please check the on line grade book regularly, to make sure your child is doing well. 8th grade really needs to stay focused for the next 7 weeks! We're not graduated yet! :) ACE 1 & 2 pg 60 due tomorrow.

8 Green got some graded papers back today and can be found in the homework section of their binders. We used the rest of our class time working on the Inv 3 quiz and additional practice 3. Additional practice 3 due TUESDAY!

8 Green finished Inv 3.3 and started Inv 3.4 Inv 3.4 continues to explore factoring quadratic equations, and finding solutions. Homework due Thursday is Part B 1-6 pg 42.

8th grade was combined today so we went to the lab to do ALEKS.
