Monday - first day of ISTEP.

Everyone in my homeroom did such a great job staying focused and working hard on ISTEP!  We will continue testing tomorrow.

Dear 7th grade parents,

There is a mandatory 7th grade parent meeting Thursday, March 3rd at 7:30 pm in the Café.  Each student must have a parent present at this meeting to discuss 8th grade events and the DC trip.  Students do not need to attend this meeting!

Tomorrow is a dress out day for Middle School students that have not received a conduct notice or uniform reminder for the month of February.  Also, yearbook forms went home today and must be returned by march 4th.

Wednesday

Yesterday, all classes went to the computer lab to work on ALEKS and their Individual Success Plans.  There were a lot of students that made getting on ALEKS part of their 2nd goal.  Please encourage your child to get on ALEKS on nights ACE is not assigned!

A few announcements: Congrats to Mitch K, Sam R and Connor G for their excellent grade on the next chapter pretests! These three gentlemen will not be working with their classmates on the next chapter, they will be working on an independent study! Way to go!

Wednesday

Tomorrow is Spring Pictures!  This is a "dress nice" day, not a free Jeans day!  We will also be taking class pictures tomorrow.  Below is the homework watcher sent out in regards to picture day.

Tomorrow is Spring Picture Day...Students may wear jeans, no holes, tears or shredded jeans. Students may wear shorts of appropriate length..no short shorts...or short skirts...

Shoes should be regular shoes you wear everyday. Shoes will not show in the picture.

If girls wear leggins, you must wear a long top over the leggins. No leggins with a top that is at your waist.

Please make sure you follow appropriate dress requirements.

Tomorrow, middle school will be doing a Books on Tape service project for Riley Hospital.  There will not be afternoon classes tomorrow.  I will only see 6th grade for class since 8th grade has manners day tomorrow.  Assignments for 8th grade will be due Monday!

Progress reports come out 2/11, please continue to check the grade book website.  Due to my JA, my absences, and the snow days, there are less grades in than normal.  Please take that into consideration when looking at progress report grades.  One bad (or very good) grade can drastically affect your average.
